Great news! Vietnam offers visa-free entry to citizens of 25 countries. However, it’s important to understand that the length of permitted stay varies depending on your nationality.

As of August 2023, Vietnam extended the visa-free stay to 45 days for citizens of 13 of these 25 countries. This extended stay allows for more in-depth explorations and applies to all passport types and travel purposes. These 13 countries are:

Regarding health, you’ll want to ensure you have travel insurance covering any potential medical needs. The healthcare in big cities is decent. However, finding English-speaking doctors or high-quality medical care in more remote areas might be harder. Carrying a basic first aid kit and essential medications is always a good idea.
